The two entries in the Star Wars Knights Of The Old Commonwealth series are among the best Star Wars games ever released, assuasive players to make a difference in the vast universe of the whole saga with their choices. There has been no new entry in the series since the release of Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic II, but information technology seems like a third game was planned and even pitched.
Speaking with VG247, former Obsidians's dominate Chris Avellone confirmed that there were plans for Star Wars Knights Of The Erstwhile Republic III. These plans were even pitched, but the game was not developed in the end.
When we finished the 2d one we were all trying to restore our lives back to sanity. Nosotros did start working on the third game pitch, because nosotros e'er imagined the trilogy. Even when working on the second game, we tried to foreshadow what Darth Revan was doing in the 2nd game, and he wasn't always just ruthlessly and mindlessly blowing everything up. He actually had a larger program because there was some greater manipulation and threat going on.
More than details on this never released game have also been revealed in the aforementioned interview.
The third game involved you, equally a actor character, following where Revan went and and then taking the boxing to the really ancient Sith lords who are far more terrifying than the Darths that show up. These guys would just be monsters.
